Squash Casserole

6 medium squash, sliced
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbs. butter
1 egg, beaten
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/2 cup (15) cracker crumbs

Boil squash and onion 10 minutes or until tender. 

Drain well, mash, and add all remaining ingredients. 

Pour into a small, lightly greased casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
